Do NOT leave your candle burning longer than four hours as it may cause your wick to ‘mushroom’ and thereby allow it to release excess carbon and soot into the air.
DO leave your candle burning long enough for the wax pool to reach the edges of its container (approximately two hours). This prevents tunneling and increases the hot throw capability of your candle fragrance.
DO trim your wick every time you light your candle. 1/4” in. is the recommended length. Your candle will give off less smoke and you won’t have to deal with unslightly black blemishes on your glassware.
Do NOT blow out your candles. Use a snuffer or dip the wick into the wax to extinguish the flame.
Never ever leave a lit candle unattended!
